Purple Carrots !! Options

The wife turn up this spring with a pack of seeds for these Purple Carrots and demanded I grow them. I didn't hold out much hope but had a go anyway and this is what we got. First time I'd ever seen them.

Yes they did, the first ones we pulled were steamed and tatsed fine but some of the purple colour leached off. the second ones we had raw in salad and tasted and, whats more, looked better.
